Chrissy Giorgetti is a Boston-based exercise physiologist. She has over 5 years of experience in the fitness world, along with a degree in Clinical Exercise Science from Ithaca College. Her other certifications include ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist, Precision Nutrition Level 1, TRX Trainer Level 1, and Intrinsic Biomechanist Level 1. She has worked in many fitness settings, including private personal training studios, large commercial gyms, university gyms, and corporate fitness gyms. She specializes in weight and fat loss, exercise newbies, and special populations, and has worked with people aged 7-99.
Chrissy currently manages State Street Bank’s corporate gym in South Boston, and works two days a week as a personal trainer at Boston University. Chrissy also does online distance coaching for exercise and nutrition. Chrissy believes in hard work, steady progress, and real results. Sometimes, you just need a little help to get to where you want to be. Seeing people reach their goals and become stronger is the most rewarding part of this job.
Chrissy was a classical ballet, modern, and jazz dancer from ages 3-22. In college, she learned how to tap dance and was a member of IC Unbound Dance Company. During her senior year of college, she learned how to powerlift and since then has competed 7 times. She placed within the top 2 every time, and has 5 first-place finishes. Besides powerlifting, Chrissy loves to travel to Cape Cod and spends most summer weekends laying on the beach. She still loves to dance, enjoys going out with her friends, exploring new places, and curling up with a good book and a cup of tea.
