Happy Friday!! Can you guys believe it’s June already?! This year is flyinggg by. The weather is finally getting nicer here in Boston. I hope everyone has gotten a chance to exercise outside! Whether it’s just going for a walk or run, or taking an outdoor class, exercising outside is one of the best parts of summer, in my opinion!
Are you a State Street employee in Boston? I’m teaching 2 outdoor bootcamp classes every Tuesday in June starting next week!! Check out the BeWell events calendar for more info 🙂
I have another information-filled post for you today so let’s get right to it!

Favorite Exercise
The Russian Twist as Jordan has me doing it. It’s a little different than your typical seated twist. I’ve actually spent the past 3 weeks of my program doing this COMPLETELY wrong, until he released this video on Wednesday. I did it the right way yesterday and oh boy, what a BIG difference! Try it if you want a new way to hit your abs!
Favorite Recipe
So, this isn’t exactly a recipe at all, but rather a short meal prep anecdote. Last week, I prepped extra because I knew I was having a short week this week (from Memorial Day!). I packed my dinner Wednesday morning that I had prepared the previous Monday. Went to microwave it at work, opened the container and it smelled SO bad. Shit, I thought, this probably went bad! I decided to heat it up and try to eat it anyways #dumb. It was definitely bad, heating it up made the smell worse and the few bites I tried to stomach down tasted so bad. I’ve been feeling sick ever since which makes me think I got a little touch of food poisoning! So, on the way home Wednesday, I stopped at Whole Foods and got two pre-packaged chicken Caesar salads. Options were limited at 9:30pm, I rarely buy salads like that! But I needed something to eat for the rest of the week so I sucked it up. Lesson learned! Don’t try to eat meat that’s over a week old!
Favorite Activities
Lots of activities over the past few weeks!! On May 21, my brother graduated from Bentley University with his Master’s in Accounting. We spent the entire weekend celebrating, with dinner at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse Saturday night and a family party at my parents’ on Sunday. Side note: I’m not really a ‘steak girl’, but holy moly the steak I had at Ruth’s Chris was probably the best meal I’ve ever had. I didn’t even know steak could be that good! 10/10 would recommend!
I wore this awesome outfit to his party on Saturday, pants are from my favorite boutique Hope’s, which I’ve mentioned before! I felt like a 70s girl! It’s not often that I get to dress up and take fashion risks (which I love doing), so I take full advantage when I can!

The next weekend was a full one too! Thursday was my sister’s Sweet Sixteen, Friday she went to senior prom (she’s a sophomore), Friday night I drove down to the Cape with my brother for Memorial Day Weekend, and Sunday I came home to celebrate one of my best friend, Michaela’s, birthday! WHEW! I relaxed on the beach, went kayaking, and went to our favorite Cape restaurant Moby Dick’s! Such a fun kickoff to summer and I can’t wait to spend my weekends at my parent’s beach house!
P.S. if you like my white peep-toe flats in the second picture of the second set below, check out Cape Cod Shoe Supply! My roommate works there and they have the cutest flip-flops, flats, and bags!
This past Tuesday, Tim and I went to Cirque du Soleil! Tim got me tickets for my birthday back in March, so I was so excited that it was finally time to go! This was my third Cirque show and his first. It was very cool!! It was called “Kurios: Cabinet of Curiosities” and it had kind of like a freak-show type feel. It’s in town until July, so if you are able to get tickets I would definitely recommend it!!

I FINALLY FINISHED CHARMED!!!! Only took me 4 months LOL. I also started the new season of Bloodline this week! And, best of all, THE BACHELORETTE is back!!! Which brings us to…..
Favorite Bachelorette Moment
This wouldn’t be a fitness blog if I didn’t talk about Chad. I literally can’t pick a favorite moment. Doing pull-ups with his suitcase full of protein strapped to his weight belt, shoveling lunch meat and steak-on-a-stick into his mouth for what seemed like the entire cocktail party, calling Jojo NAGGY (seriously, girl, get him out of there)….this guy is gonna be a fun one to watch!
My top 3 favorite guys are Jordan, Alex, and Luke. My bracket is looking good so far. Won’t tell you who I picked to win it all, but let’s just say I’m hoping Alex is the next Bachelor!
Client Testimonial
To close out this week’s Friday Faves, I have a testimonial from my client, Jill that she posted on Facebook earlier this week. Check out what she had to say below!
“I’m not really one to do this, but I feel so great I want to share a thank you to Chrissy!
some of you may know I’ve been working out under the influence of Christine Giorgetti-Level Nutrition Coach – man, what changes I’ve made to my body! I have to say, I’m usually pretty skeptical about coaching and trainers, only because I don’t really need them. Or so I thought.
I eat well, but Chrissy helped me clean up my diet with just a few simple suggestions. I work out regularly but Chrissy started helping me do more than just the same old routine. I learned a lot about the important role of nutrition in losing weight and toning, and that girls really can lift weights without getting bulky like men.
Some of you may know I also broke my humerus bone in half last winter. And, suffered nerve damage from the surgery, losing my wrist and hand function for a little. Gained 10lbs from that injury. Chrissy not only helped me lose the weight and get back my lifting to normal where PT no longer could, but I am now much stronger than I ever was, lifting much heavier weights and I’m leaner than I’ve ever been. (Did I mention I’m at the lowest weight I’ve ever been as an adult?!) And it hasn’t even been 4 months.
This girl is going to help me keep off the summer pounds I usually gain, get me to my wedding without the classic weight gain, WITHOUT making me sacrifice my life or my summer boating. She writes me a new training program every 8 weeks and its usually 4 days a week in the gym, no biggie. And its all online. I recommend her 100% – I can’t wait to see how far I can go!”
I’m so proud of Jill and I can’t wait to keep working with her! Keep killing it, girlfriend!!!!!
